I am Hugues DORSI DI MEGLIO, a French entrepreneur with a diverse background in IT, project management, military service, business consulting and entrepreneurship.
Raised in the beautiful Côte d’Azur, I moved to Paris in 2003 to pursue my engineering studies. Starting during my studies, I was actively involved in student unions and non-profit organizations, which enriched my understanding of leadership and teamwork.
After my studies, I joined ENGIE’s headquarters as an IT project manager. This experience was followed by a unique stint as a reserve officer in the army, where I had the privilege of meeting incredible individuals and learning invaluable lessons.
In 2015, I embarked on a new adventure in New Caledonia, where I founded and ran a successful consulting firm for seven years. This experience allowed me to delve into various industries, including mining, utilities, transport, postal services, telecommunications, banking as well as public services. I also developed an interest in the health sector, partly influenced by my wife, a dedicated doctor.
In 2022, my wife and I decided to return to France to continue our learning journey. I joined the HEC’s Executive MBA program (September 2022 cohort aka The Disruptors), where I discovered the concept of search funds during Jan SIMON‘s dedicated crash course. This sparked my interest, and I decided to focus my capstone project on it.
Outside of work, I am a proud father of two and enjoy spending quality time with my family. I also love dogs and enjoy shooting as a hobby.
